Our suite lends itself to elegant relaxation and indulgence: a spacious, high-ceilinged room decorated in a rich red colour theme. A lively red and green foliage print, by renowned French designer Pierre Frey, harmoniously covers the walls and windows, creating a cocoon of elegance, with an emerald-green velvet headboard on the bed.
A separate seating area has a deep ruby-red sofa and chair, complemented by small octagonal occasional tables, a perfect spot to indulge in some relaxed reading, or enjoying some Moroccan mint tea.
This sumptuous suite is full of exquisite decorative touches: Moorish arched niches in the wall hold exquisite handpainted ceramic jars, while the floor is covered by a tastefully worn antique Moroccan rug. The ample bathroom with its twin sinks is themed in green, which symbolises peace in the Islamic faith.
Sultan Moulay Ismail, after whom the suite is named, was the second sultan of the Alaouite dynasty in the XVII century. You can visit his palace, now the Kasbah Museum. His descendant Mohamed VI is the current king of Morocco.
